Lance Armstrong tells all on Oprah
With Lance Armstrong reputation already tarnished by reports that he had been taking performance-enhancing drugs when he won his record seven Tour de France titles, the world renowned cyclist appeared on Oprah to tell his side of the story. This is the first time that Armstrong has admitted publicly to the performance-enhancing drug allegations that have followed him throughout his career. However, complaints are already surfacing that Armstrong was not remorseful during the interview.
“I left it all on the table with [Oprah] and when it airs, the people can decide,” Armstrong told The Associated Press. Armstrong’s former teammates have already been quoted as saying that the interview is a major step in the right direction.
