Vagrant threatens Ryerson students at knifepoint
Two female students at Ryerson University were threatened by a man with a knife on Sept. 28. A press release from Ryerson University stated that the man said he had “cut someone, and would cut them, too.”
The incident happened on the first floor of Kerr Hall. After the man threatened the students, he entered a washroom. The threatened students saw the suspect leave the building around 40 minutes later at which point they called security.
The man is described as being 50–60 years old, large, with a scar on his upper lip and missing teeth.
“It appeared that the man was homeless and had wandered onto campus,” a police officer told the Ryersonian.
No further information has been released and no arrests have been made since Friday’s incident.
